S3E46 – AH – “After Hours” with Diana Glyer (Part 1)

When Matt and I were at the C.S. Lewis Symposium in North Carolina, we heard Dr. Diana Glyer give a talk on the Inklings which quite rightly received a standing ovation. In this episode, Matt and Dr. Glyer discuss the material covered in that talk and its associated book, Bandersnatch. Their discussion is concluded in Thursday’s episode.

• Diana’s biographical Information:

Diana Pavlac Glyer is an award-winning writer who has spent more than 40 years combing through archives and studying old manuscripts. She is a leading expert on C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and her book The Company They Keep changed the way we talk about these writers. Her scholarship, her teaching, and her work as an artist all circle back to one common theme: creativity thrives in community. In 2016 she released a more popular version of The Company They Keep under the title BANDERSNATCH: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the Creative Collaboration of the Inklings.

Biographical Information regarding Diana Glyer
